This is the story of a caterpillar who contemplated ending his life because of fearing the fragility of life as a butterfly.
However, he was inspired and encouraged by a burl (the scar of the tree), which shared glimpses of the beauty beyond the forest.
This experience motivated the caterpillar to transform into a chrysalis, embracing life and rebirth by confronting death.
